To Clear our water by treating every acre with respect
JCSWCD
The Johnson County Soil & Water Conservation District is made up
of five locally elected residents of Johnson County who serve as volunteers.
They provide local program guidance to solve natural resource problems
within the district. Professional staff is provided by the
Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land stewardship (IDALS), Division
of Soil Conservation (DSC) and the Natural
Resources Conservation Service (NRCS). In Johnson County the Board
of Supervisors contributed funds for a County Soil and Water Conservationist
position.
